It’s been almost 3 months since Robin and I stepped down as the youth leaders at Friendship Community Church, so I thought I’d give an update on how God is using me now. We been attending Life Point Baptist Church since leaving Friendship(Life Point is on my blog roll). Life Point is a new church plant in Washington PA lead by Aaron and Andrew Johnson. Aaron is the lead pastor and his brother Andrew leads worship. I’m excited about being apart of What God is doing and is going to do at Life Point. I started today leading the Life Point team in prayer before the service, and will be the prayer coordinator handling the prayer concerns of church members and create a prayer chain.Also, there might be an opportunity in the near future to lead a Bible study. I’m very thankful to Lord for the doors he’s opening. I needed a break from ministry but been praying for ways I can serve Him. I miss teaching Scripture, but needed time for personal time in the Word.I’m ready to step up for God, and the things I learned with leading the youth group, I’m going to take the steps not to get burned out again.

           And another thing that might be happening is I’m meeting with the senior Chaplin at the City Mission about speaking at their chapel services again. God is so awesome how he answers prayers. 

     One more thing about Life Point, Last year is the first time I met Pastor Aaron, and I know God brings people together for a reason. God gave me that vision for Friendship’s youth group, but called me to move on after 3 years. From the time Robin and I started attending Life Point, I knew that it’s where He wants us. It’s been weird and great at the same time being at a new church, but like I said already, I know God wanted us to meet and I’m looking forward to serving God together. Aaron,Andrew, and their family are serious about reaching this city for Christ, and I’m praising God for being apart of it. God is good!
